Good for a transient visit

Comfortable bed, fast WiFi, with my stay in a Standard King Room featuring a flat-screen TV and air conditioning that made it easy to relax after my daily explorations just a 10-minute stroll from 86th Street.

Was all great.

The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the girl named Venus who checked me in and had everything ready for my arrival. I also loved how the grab and go breakfast was available before check-in, those hot items gave me just the boost I needed after a red-eye flight.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but worth it.

my stay at avid was fantastic! the standard king room was cozy and well-maintained. i loved the dove soap and the fact that room service refreshed my towels every day. plus, the 24-hour coffee in the lobby was a delightful touch.

The staff provided attentive service which made us feel welcomed and the premises maintained a clean environment throughout our stay. The amenities offered were useful for our family activities during the visit especially the gym that was kept well organized which made it easier to maintain our routine while traveling.

One aspect to note is the parking situation which was somewhat inconvenient at times especially during busy hours.

I had a productive stay at Avid, greatly benefiting from the efficiently organized work environment. The complimentary WiFi was reliable, allowing me to stay connected for conference calls. The staff was attentive, assisting with any inquiries promptly, and the hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, giving a professional atmosphere.

The area has almost every shop you can think of, and with Bensonhurst Park just over 3 km away, it was a perfect place for a city stroll to unwind after exploring the bustling streets of Brooklyn. I also appreciated the modern and clean room that made it easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing. this hotel is ideal for single travelers like me who enjoy a comfortable stay while being close to all the action around the city, but I did notice the walls were a bit thin, which could lead to noise disturbances at times.

The breakfast was a culinary delight, especially those perfectly cooked eggs—they hit the spot! Plus, the location was super handy for popping over to nearby eateries like Annabelle's Pastaria. Such a find!

However, I had a bit of a headache when I couldn't connect my phone to the TV for work. The staff knew about it but didn't fix it, which was kinda disappointing. Oh, and parking was a hassle. my SUV didn't fit in the garage, so I had to brave the street.
